SAN DIEGO, CA  -  AUGUST 27, 2019 -  Dr. Michael Bevilacqua, Amicrobe’s founder and CEO, was an invited speaker at the American Chemical Society (ACS) Fall 2019 National Meeting & Exposition.  Dr. Bevilacqua delivered a presentation to the division of Polymeric Materials Science and Engineering in the session entitled "Design, Synthesis & Engineering of Polypeptides for Biological & Biomedical Application."  His presentation was titled "Amicidin-alpha and Amicidin-beta: Amino acid block co-polymers in development for prevention and treatment of infection in surgery and trauma" and focused on Amicrobe's innovative technology of synthetic proteins and what it takes to transition from research bench to clinic.
